About The Team

We’re excited to welcome a new content specialist to our rapidly expanding, Cannes-award winning agency in London. Our team comprises tech PR specialists, social and influencer relations practitioners, and creative storytellers.

We work across a portfolio of world-class brands in enterprise and consumer technologies and, as well as working on UK accounts, we manage a number of hub accounts from across the world. As part of a dynamic global network, we have dedicated technology hubs in London, San Francisco, Dallas, New York, and Singapore.

Our philosophy is simplify the complex. We work with big and small technology and corporate brands to humanise their approach to comms. We take the most technical subjects and turn them into human stories. We make consumer technologies relevant to people’s lives. And we introduce new and exciting disruptors to the market.

We do this through an integrated approach – bringing together traditional PR strategies with social media, internal comms, and executive comms, and ensuring all elements are present in all activity, from day-to-day retainer work through to big hitting campaigns.

Who You Are:

We are looking for a Senior Content Manager to join our Tech Team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sector from working on technology-focused clients, with a particular focus on B2B/Enterprise comms. They will both plan and execute on content campaigns, ensuring they resonate with the right audiences cross-channel and across different international markets. They will excel at working directly with clients, taking their messaging and turning it into engaging, human-first stories – making technology relevant to everyday life.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day content management: As a Senior Content Manager in our technology team, you’ll be responsible for creating, optimising, managing and delivering content to support technology clients, including on two of our cornerstone accounts.
  • Content creation: Working with the PR team, you’ll take a range of UK-centric, global and EMEA-wide briefs and create industry-leading, human-first copy. Press releases, bylines, blogs, speeches, social content, creative media angles – you name it.
  • Content ideation: Pushing clients to think outside of the box with their content, and to try new things. Is there a new angle they could try? Is there a better format they could tell their story in? Would a video be better than a blog? Your job will be to encourage them to evolve their approach, to stay a step ahead of them at all times, and to get their content singing on all fronts.
  • Content strategy: Working with your clients, account leads and head of content, you’ll take the lead on content strategy for your clients – creating integrated, multi-channel content plans on either a quarterly, yearly, or project-basis.
  • Client management: You’ll be the direct contact on all day-to-day content activity for two of our cornerstone technology accounts, and will develop strong, trusting relationships with these clients. Golin is the agency of record for a non-profit organisation that represents and unifies the mobile, and telecoms industry and a wireless network provider and leader in digital transformation.
  • Growth opportunities: As well as helping our clients grow their content function by routinely suggesting new concepts or channels, we want someone who can help us grow and manage our content team here in London – working with the Editorial Director to identify new content opportunities from across the London office, as well as from our international teams.
  • Leadership opportunities: As a Senior Content Manager, you’ll work in partnership with our technology leadership team, as well as the Editorial Director and the Head of Integrated to empower our people by proactively sharing your knowledge, skills and guidance. You will be able to deliver clear but kind constructive feedback for more junior team members as we upskill them to produce top quality PR content, such as press releases and bylines.
  • Be a team player: Demonstrate ability to seamlessly and effectively work into and with various UK, EMEA and global teams, as well as with other specialist community members (social, influencer, creative, design, etc) to deliver award-winning client work. Ultimately, you will be someone who wants to integrate into an inclusive team, who has a strong sense of culture and community, where every voice and idea is listened to.
