The Role:

What you’ll do at Cognism: 

  • Content Strategy: You will contribute to building, developing and executing a multimedia content strategy that feeds both our ‘media machine’ and provides the Demand Generation Managers with content for their campaigns.
  • Content Creation:  You will take content from idea to execution across multiple formats (i.e blogs, long and short form video, podcasts, webinars) and channels (organic social, email etc) and its purpose in the create demand media machine. You will become an expert in the sales, marketing and RevOps personas and the content they are interested in. You will be great at researching those who know more, to learn from them and to get them to contribute to your content. 
  • Content Production: You will be comfortable creating content across a variety of formats, including writing long and short form, social media posts, drafting and producing podcast episodes, writing scripts and producing video content and creating webinar and live event programs. You will be an expert in managing multiple stakeholders, to ensure you have the right voices, influencers and experts on contributing to content. 
  • Campaign Activation: You will activate content, publishing blog content the website, setting up and running podcasts, webinars and publishing and posting new content on LinkedIn and Youtube. You’ll plan how to launch content working with relevant external influencers and internally the Demand Generation managers and SEO team to ensure your content reaches the relevant eyeballs.
  • SEO Expertise: We optimise DG content where appropriate for SEO, and you would take a lead on this. You’ll have a solid working knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, competitor analysis, on page, and off page SEO.
  • Content Reporting: You will be data led and data driven. Reporting on the content you create, measuring content engagement and its contribution to pipeline and revenue. You will be comfortable understanding how best to report on different types of content and showing the impact to the business.

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of proven experience in content marketing or demand generation, either at an agency or in-house. Ideally this experience has been supporting a marketing team within SaaS.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to ideate and turn that into new content concepts.
  • A strong affinity to social media platforms, understanding what platforms to use when, trends and factors affecting virality. 
  • Confident briefing freelance writers, video designers, and graphic designers.
  • A strong writer able to self-proof and write independently at speed
  • Experience in devising and optimising SEO and content plans.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SEO principles, techniques, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and build out processes to allow for the rapid iteration and execution.
  • Experience producing assets such as: Blogs, long-form articles, long-form video, short-from video, podcasts and webinars.
  • A self-starter able to deliver content to plan and to schedule
  • Excellent attention to detail, able to self-proof work and ensure a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous experience working with Influencers and subject matter experts to produce content is a plus
  • Comfortable using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs.
  • Experience using a CMS, (ideally Hubspot), webinars platforms (ideally Goldcast or Sequel.io), marketing automation platforms (ideally Pardot), Podcast platforms (ideally Squadcast) is a plus.
