Senior Consultant, Planning & Performance Management
How you’ll make an impact:
As a Software Implementation Senior Consultant on Strata’s Planning & Performance Management team, you will partner with financial leaders at major health systems to configure and implement our Capital Planning, Operational Budgeting, and Performance Management propietary cloud based solutions
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Implementing StrataJazz planning and performance management solutions for healthcare customers across the U.S., ensuring alignment to customer‑specific business needs
- Configuring user requirements, validating functionality, developing financial models, building reports, creating workflows, and testing key features of the software to ensure proper implementation
- Helping customers define their business and technical requirements and advising them on best practices for financial and capital planning processes
- Leading virtual and onsite customer training to ensure users understand the relevant features and functions of StrataJazz®
- Communicating proactively with internal team members and project managers regarding issues or risks during the project lifecycle and developing action plans to mitigate them
- Contributing to operational improvement and strategic growth initiatives that help Strata scale effectively and continually enhance service delivery
- Working in an Agile environment and building familiarity with effective methodologies for implementing high‑quality, feature‑rich software
- Understanding the products within Strata’s Healthcare vertical and how those products interconnect to support customers
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of full-time experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems containing Finance applications functionality (Lawson/Infor, SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong experience with financial modeling, financial statement analysis, financial reporting, and general accounting concepts
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF Statements)
- Experience using SQL or other relational database concepts
- Willingness to travel within the US as needed to customer locations up to 20–35%
- Advanced experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Finance or consulting within the healthcare industry
- Software implementation and configuration
- You’d really wow us if you have:
- Prior experience using StrataJazz® in a professional capacity
- Project management experience and proven ability to lead structured initiatives
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000-110,000
Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role. In addition, Strata provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, life and accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.

The preferred location for this role is in Chicago, IL or St. Louis, MO. We value our people spending time together and have campuses hosting in-person events located in both cities. We are truly a hybrid environment with all team members experiencing the flexibility to work from home.
