Senior Consultant, Advisory Services - Planning & Performance Management
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Senior Consultant on our Planning & Performance Management (PPM) Advisory Services team, you’ll partner with healthcare organizations to help them adopt and optimize StrataJazz® solutions for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
You’ll guide customers in translating data into actionable insights, shaping planning processes, and establishing the workflows and structures needed to support effective decision-making. This role blends advisory, facilitation, and structured execution to help organizations improve financial performance and operational alignment.
What You’ll Do- Partner with customers to understand goals, priorities, and current state processes to help define the scope and approach for advisory engagements
- Facilitate working sessions and discussions to align on planning processes, performance management practices, and key decisions
- Translate financial and operational data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Help design and refine planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance review processes
- Develop and deliver roadmap materials, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders across finance and operational leadership
- Advise on how to effectively leverage StrataJazz® PPM capabilities, including data structure, workflow design, and integration considerations
- Support elements of engagement execution, including information gathering, process documentation, and coordination of deliverables
- Provide guidance on change management, including communication approaches, training support, and adoption best practices
- Coordinate timelines, milestones, and engagement activities to ensure work progresses effectively
- Collaborate with internal partners across product, delivery, and account teams to ensure alignment and consistency in recommendations
- 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare finance, FP&A, performance management, or healthcare consulting
- Strong ability to translate financial or operational data into meaningful insights and recommendations
- Strong background in Microsoft excel
- Experience supporting financial planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, or performance management
- Ability to lead discussions, facilitate alignment, and communicate clearly across a range of stakeholders
- Experience with process improvement, change management, or system adoption initiatives
- Understanding of financial concepts such as financial statements, cost accounting, and service line reporting
- Strong organization and project coordination skills
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed (up to ~35%)
- You’d Really Wow Us If You Have:
- Experience working within a health system FP&A or financial planning team
- Experience in healthcare consulting or advisory services
- Familiarity with Strata’a planning or performance management platforms
- Experience presenting insights using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience using SQL or other relational database systems
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000-110,000
Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role.
