Role Purpose:

The Cloud Manger for Public Cloud is responsible for planning and designing the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise Architectural plan. To globally design and implement Cloud solutions and guarantee efficient operation of the different components. To ensure high availability and compliance of the IT-Infrastructure. Interact with external outsourcing providers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability
  • Operate the above environment and ensure high availability
  • Deliver Project work according to the overall standards and concepts
  • Scout technology scouting and run proof of concepts / Propose new solutions, liaise with vendors and define global IT infrastructure standards in storage, backup and laboratory software
  • Resolve critical incidents and problems
  • Ensure Disaster/Recovery and maintain security of systems and unauthorized access to systems
  • Ensure that systems are implemented and documented in compliance with Lonza's standards
  • Ensure documentation and compliance of corresponding IT-Infrastructure
  • Manage the Cloud Operation team

Key requirements:

  • Professional and with extensive experience in leading large-scale projects
  • Excellent and experienced leader with the ability to motivate groups of multicultural resources to complete a project on time, also in a virtual setup
  • Structured, focused and result oriented with attention to detail
  • Mentally robust, retains the overview and navigates efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Technical IT Infrastructure competency a strong advantage
  • Experience within the Pharma industry and the handling of validated IT Infrastructure and environments an advantage
