What will I be doing?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager to join our product marketing team on a 9 month fixed term contract.
You’ll get involved in the entire commercial process from working with product managers to understand product capabilities and value proposition through to working with our team of solution consultants.
You will be a key member of our deal teams with responsibility for storytelling, crafting messaging and content for individual markets and prospects.
With a mixture of team and independent working, you will be thinking creatively and solving complex problems, supporting the successful expansion of Kaluza into new markets. In this role you will have the opportunity to shape the future of energy retail across markets worldwide and so an open mindset is a must.
In addition to the above, the role will include:
- Working across commercial teams - business development, client solutions, marketing, partnerships - to execute our go to market strategy, supporting the creation of sales enablement content.
- Understanding the complex requirements of energy markets worldwide, effectively communicating problems and contributing towards solutions.
- Working with teams across the platform to develop knowledge and insight as we work to deliver localised solutions.
- Effectively sharing knowledge of the energy industry in an accessible way across the organisation.
- Challenging assumptions and validating ideas using industry insight and supporting data.
- Researching competitor solutions and news, sharing that intel with the commercial team and wider organisation.
About You
Ideally you’ll have/be:
- Deep experience in B2B SaaS environments as a Product Marketing Manager or a Product Manager
- A commercial mindset and hunger to win
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft winning product and commercial narratives for specific audiences and through collaboration with colleagues
- Experience working within a competitive, commercial environment delivering challenging work to tight deadlines
- Strategic and creative thinker adept at coming up with novel ways of engaging audiences, solving problems and creating impact for our brand
- Able to conduct research with external and internal stakeholders to understand new requirements
- A highly organised, team player who forms strong interpersonal relationships and is experienced at galvanising support for key projects
- A pragmatic and practical self-starter; an outcomes-oriented person who can juggle multiple workstreams, loves to problem-solve and can efficiently drive a collaborative process
- Someone who thrives on challenges, is adaptable/flexible, and takes pride in being an excellent teammate
