About the Role

A Product Analyst (Level 2) role is designed to help our product initiatives with actionable quantitative insights, being part of the Global Business Intelligence department. 

We are looking for a motivated professional to join our growing Product Analytics team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Commercial teams to analyze user and client behavior, identify key insights, and drive data-informed decisions that support the development and execution of FareHarbor’s product strategy.

As a Product Analyst (Level 2), you’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your data-driven recommendations will influence our product roadmap and contribute to the success of both FareHarbor and our clients. This role reports into the Manager of Product Analytics. 

To be successful in this role, you are required to have strong product and data analytics skills, the ability to work independently, and contribute to the BI team’s analytical best practices. 

What you’ll do here:

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Conduct in-depth data analyses using SQL and product analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude, StatSig, or similar) to understand user behavior and product performance.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Mixpanel, or similar) to track KPIs such as funnel conversion, user retention, and feature adoption.
  2. Product Insights & Strategy
    • Work closely with Product Managers to define success metrics for new and existing features, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Identify trends, uncover user pain points, and propose evidence-based recommendations that inform product development and prioritization.
  3. Experimentation & Testing
    • Design and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses, measure impact of product changes, and ensure decisions are rooted in robust statistical analysis.
    • Recommend improvements based on test findings and share best practices with cross-functional teams.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to ensure data integrity, optimize data pipelines, and validate results.
    • Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear recommendations.
  5. Knowledge sharing
    • Support junior analysts through coaching, peer reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
    • Contribute to the development of standardized analytics frameworks and documentation to elevate team efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in product analytics, data analytics, or a related field.
    • Experience in B2B SaaS environment is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science) or equivalent job experience.
  • Strong SQL proficiency with a track record of writing complex queries for large data sets.
  • Knowledge of Python (Pandas, Statsmodels, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, etc.etc)  and/or R, Spark/Hadoop.
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics or similar web analytics tool) and data visualization (e.g. Looker, Tableau or similar).
  • Proven ability to design and analyze A/B tests and other experimentation methods.
  • Solid understanding of product development lifecycles and experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to distill complex data findings into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with statistical analysis (confidence intervals, significance testing) and data modeling concepts is a plus.

This will be a hybrid role with in-office expectations 2–3 days/week.
