As a Process Analyst at AQA, you’ll have the opportunity to transform how business processes are documented, evaluated, and improved. Working closely with process owners and stakeholders, you’ll map out new processes, update existing ones, and offer guidance on best practices.

Full Job Description
Summary
The Process Analyst is responsible for documenting, evaluating and improving assessment business processes, working with process owners. This involves working with the business teams to map new processes, review and update existing process maps and documentation to appropriate levels of detail. For critical and complex business processes, conduct detailed end to end analysis to ensure best practice, identify process improvements, promote efficient ways of working, reduce risks to delivery and quality of assessment materials. The Process Analyst will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and business process owners to embed a culture of process ownership and improvement.Landscape:
Working in the Assessment Quality team the Process Analyst reports into the Head of Assessment Quality. The process analyst will work with process owners across Assessment to ensure all assessment processes are mapped and documented to an appropriate level of detail, working to implement a programme of process review and process improvement. They will provide process support to assessment quality projects delivered by the assessment quality team working with relevant teams across COO.
Activities:
Lead Assessment in documenting key processes and identifying suitable mechanisms for their ongoing review and maintenance
In-depth analysis of business processes to identify areas for process re-engineering improvements (efficiency, quality or cost)
Consultation with business stakeholders to recommend, prioritise, cost and implement process improvements
Development of a detailed work programme/project plan to ensure successful delivery of expected outcomes
Project management and delivery of agreed business improvements
Provision of advice and guidance on process mapping, and tools, to identify operational efficiencies and share best practice
To be successful in this role, you will need to know:
Best practice in the documentation and dissemination of process information to support understanding and consistent application
Process development methodologies leading to the design and implementation of efficient processes
How to work constructively with teams to challenge existing practice and thinking to support implementation of new processes
How able to influence and build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders and to be a role model for a partnership based matrix style of working. Utilising strong interpersonal and communication skills.
How to use Visio and Excel and other office tools to analyse data and produce precise documentation and concise information including analysis of process performance and capability.
