The Role
We are currently recruiting for a People & Culture Business Partner to provide strategic advice, coaching and mentoring to our London Construction and consulting business units. Ensure alignment in the delivery of HR services, solutions, programs and practices with business needs and priorities, and in line with HR strategy. Provide high level consultation with the business to ensure mitigation of risks, business continuity, compliance and effective workforce management
What will you do
- Provide P&C partnership to the business(s) contributing to and implementing the P&C programs, policies and processes aligned to organisation, P&C strategy and local legal requirements.
- Perform day to day operational activities as required to ensure the delivery of effective P&C services to the business(s).
- Coordinate the business implementation of key P&C initiatives which may include performance management, workforce management, i.e. workforce plans, cost of workforce etc. talent management and leadership and development programs.
- Implement change management plans to ensure the successful delivery of P&C programs.
- Support the ongoing development of our people managers and employee capabilities to meet the workforce requirements and effective succession planning.
- Tracking and reporting the development and implementation of the employee engagement action plans in conjunction with the business.
- Promote and foster a performance culture of accountability and ownership of delivery, championing the company's core values to facilitate continuous improvement learning & performance;
- Oversee the business implementation of key HR initiatives, inclusive of and not limited to:
- Leadership development
- Organisational design
- Performance management
- Talent & Succession management
- Compensation and benefits
- Workforce planning
What you will bring
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a HR related discipline, combined with an advanced knowledge of role.
- Experience in a broad range of HR disciplines which may include learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, recruitment and performance management and knowledge of Employment Law, HR best practices, policies, systems and processes.
- Problem solving, technical and analytical skills to support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and programs.
- Good interpersonal skills to engage with and build relationships with key stakeholders. Competencies include; Change Agility, Interpersonal Ability, Planning and Organising, Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking, Technology and Process.
- Experience working in the construction built environment or engineering sectors would be highly advantageous but not a requirement for the role.
