Position Summary

The Payroll Processor is a vital role within our Global Payroll Team supporting colleagues in 13 countries across the UK & EMEA regions. The Payroll Processor will be part of small, close-knit team responsible for entering data into the ADP Celergo software system and answering employee queries on and around payroll.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Process and reconcile payrolls in multiple EMEA countries in a timely manner; coordinating additional payrolls as needed.
  • Maintain payroll records and other benefit deductions.
  • Processing and payment of non-standard wages: commissions, bonuses, expense reimbursements, relocation, leave, severance, final payments.
  • Create reports using MS Excel.
  • Support equity compensation vesting and exercise processing.
  • Support audit process for both internal and external auditors.
  • High level of integrity and maturity essential due to sensitive nature of the information.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recommend solutions to improve payroll processing function.
  • Assist employees with payroll inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience processing UK payrolls
  • An understanding of current UK legislation.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude for learning and assisting in the continuous improvement of practices and processes
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Excel
  • Interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with the team and other employees
  • Able to be a strong team player and work independently where necessary
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential in this role.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience using ADP Celergo.
  • Experience with processing payrolls for EMEA countries.
  • Experience with managing an outsourced payroll provider.
