Your Role:

Supporting the Head of Legal and Assistant Company Secretary this newly created role will include on a range of duties including contract reviews and updating internal guidelines.

What you’ll do:

  • Preparing board and committee meeting packs
  • Drafting minutes of meetings, forms, resolutions and documentation to support effective corporate governance.
  • Reviewing and negotiation of a variety of commercial contracts.
  • Researching laws, regulations and legislation.
  • Supporting projects to enhance existing frameworks and processes.
  • Assisting with analysis of insurance policy wordings.
  • Drafting updates on internal documents
  • Support with administrative tasks to support the Legal and Company Secretarial team to include storage of relevant information received from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Helping deliver training within the business.

What we are looking for:

  • Law degree or Company Secretarial qualifications; Legal Practice Course (LPC) or Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) desirable 
  • Strong organisation and administration skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills with ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Able to plan and prioritise own workload to meeting deadlines
  • Financial services background preferred but not essential
