Additional Details

Position based in London or Denver, Colorado with a hybrid work arrangement; minimum of 3 days per week in the office. This is 12 Months FTC - maternity cover

Position Overview

As a marketing specialist, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on how we engage and attract talent to our company. You’ll be at the forefront of our employer branding, crafting content and building strategies that not only highlight our workplace culture but also reach diverse audiences around the globe.

In this position, you’ll work closely with talent acquisition to understand hiring needs and contribute to projects like job fairs and targeted campaigns. You'll have the autonomy to bring fresh ideas to our social media strategy and develop engaging content that positions us as an industry leader in the data center space. With a focus on inclusivity and representation, you’ll help us build an online presence that speaks to all potential candidates.

The individual will report directly to the Director, Global Marketing and will work together with various stakeholders and teams within the organization, including leadership, sales, design, engineering, and construction, to achieve department and corporate goals.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor, LinkedIn) to drive growth and attract diverse talent globally.
  • Create and curate content that raises awareness of the data center industry and promotes our company as a leading employer, with a focus on appealing to underrepresented groups.
  • Regularly collaborate with the talent acquisition (TA) team to align on hiring needs and organizational goals, supporting recruitment efforts such as job fairs and employer brand initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond to reviews on our active job boards (Glassdoor, Indeed & Kununu).
  • Contribute ideas for social media improvements under the guidance of the marketing director.
  • Stay current on social media trends, industry marketing best practices, and competitor strategies to keep our content relevant and engaging.
  • Prepare monthly reports on recruitment marketing metrics and maintain a monthly scorecard to track performance.
  • Contribute to the Vantage social media calendar with creative content ideas and event promotions that resonate with potential candidates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Journalism, or equivalent experience required.
  • Preferably 2-5 years of data center or recruitment marketing experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to write marketing copy is essential; attention to detail is a must.
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in recruitment marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Glassdoor) and familiarity with emerging trends.
  • Excellent content creation skills with the ability to craft engaging, brand-aligned posts, visuals, and campaigns.
  • Communication and collaboration skills to work closely with talent acquisition and other departments.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite is strongly preferred.
