As the manager for the Solutions Architects in the North EMEA, you will partner with Sales Leadership to achieve revenue goals within the team and territory across net new accounts and expansions.

You will work closely with your Solution Architect team to ensure they have the tools, resources, and knowledge to be successful. You will coach, drive by example and collaborate with your team to position Redis vision and technology and help your team achieve technical success with prospects and customers.

You will work closely with the Global Leadership team to define long-term strategy and growth objectives for your region. You will be actively driving your team to further excellence and success both as a collective group, but also mentoring the individual members in your team to further progress their own success and career path.

What you’ll do

  • Directly manage a team of Solution Architects supporting our regional field sales territories, focussing on named accounts (largest enterprises and unicorn digital natives) across all major EMEA North Countries.
  • Oversee technical activities and work with your team, customers, and prospects to drive the qualification, product positioning, solution design, prototyping, and POC process and foster the right collaboration across sales, pre-sales and post-sales customer success and support functions to ensure value realization and accelerated success on identified opportunities.
  • Work with sales leadership to identify, improve, and maintain alignment between the Solution Architects, Account Executive and actively contribute to pipeline accuracy and deal reviews.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top pre-sales talent in a high-growth environment.
  • Drive pipeline and new logo and revenue opportunities with the field enterprise sales teams contributing to cross-functional initiatives and regional leadership groups.
  • Collaborate with marketing on collateral such as win stories, white papers,  blogs, industry events and community meetups.
  • Keep your technical skill set sharp through self-driven learning, hands-on  experience and field activities to establish and maintain credibility both at customers and internally.

What do you need to have? 

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience in software and/or a  technologically relevant field
  • 8+ years experience in software and sales, preferably in open source and cloud domains.
  • 3+ years of direct management or cross-functional leadership experience


What is ideal to also have? 

  • Experience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis)
  • Experience with modern apps, containers & private/public cloud architectures
  • Experience with one or more programming languages
  • Experience with defining and implementing pre-sales alignment models in enterprise segment
  • Hands-on experience with one or more IaaS or virtualized infrastructure providers such as  AWS, GCP, Azure, VMware vSphere, or Kubernetes
  • You are ideally based in the UK
