Description

Hypemasters is a fast-growing game development company that creates cutting-edge mobile & PC games focusing on innovation, creativity, and engaging gameplay. We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join our team and help us revolutionise the RTS genre.

As a Lead Data Analyst at Hypemasters, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance player experiences, optimise game performance, and drive strategic decision-making for our game.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with game designers, product managers, and developers to identify key questions, define success metrics, and design experiments to test hypotheses.
  • Estimate the financial performance of features and games as a whole.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor game KPIs, track player engagement, and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Support the current analytical stack, including Looker and BigQuery; investigate data losses and provide fixes.
  • Develop hypotheses based on data insights and create A/B test plans.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a data analyst in the gaming industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour, game mechanics, and in-game economies.
  • Strong knowledge of data infrastructure solutions e.g. Looker and BigQuery.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for gaming and a desire to innovate and push the boundaries of analytics in the gaming industry.
