What You Will Be Doing

Our European be.ENERGISED Sales Team focuses on winning and developing customers with the greatest potential for ChargePoint. The focus of this role today is on new customer acquisition. This position is a highly visible role within ChargePoint and the industry. be.ENERGISED, which you will be mainly responsible for, is ChargePoint’s White-Label Enablement Software. With this software-first approach, we enable our customers, who are among the largest industry, oil & gas, OEM, and energy companies worldwide, to build, scale, and sustainably align their business models along the entire eMobility Charging value chain.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

The role necessitates the management of a wide variety of workstreams from near-term revenue generation to long-term project cultivation across various partner divisions and geographies.

  • Responsibility for the whole sales cycle from identifying prospects to negotiations and closing. Hunting and attracting new customers will be a major part of this job.
  • Downstream support, upselling, and contract renewals are also part of your area of responsibility.
  • Ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the EV charging ecosystem, from cloud services and mobile applications to charging hardware and support services.
  • Researching, identifying and working on tenders published by EV charging companies.
The successful candidate will work closely with teams across a range of divisions within the SaaS Sales division, as well as with colleagues across multiple departments within ChargePoint (including Regional Sales, Marketing, Support, Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.), to ensure the delivery of milestones.
 
Requirements
  • You are currently selling at an enterprise level in a closing role. You are a confident and polished communicator, capable of building strong and lasting working relationships.
  • Knowledge of the eMobility industry is a plus but not a prerequisite. Rather, having an interest in technical selling/consulting and being confident in working in a high-growth environment is key.
  • Proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally and in an intercultural, global team.
  • Business fluent in English (essential) further languages are a plus
  • Several years of experience working in similar roles and/or industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Energy, Economics is a plus
  • Willingness to travel, as our customers are spread all over Europe.
