As part of our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we will be kicking off a significant Transformation Project to introduce S/4HANA, and as such we have created several positions to support this enterprise project.
Role Purpose:
The IT Solution Architect P2P provides deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the procurement domain, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the procurement solutions within the S/4HANA environment. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, technical expertise, and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of procurement processes that align with the organization's business objectives.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact ERP transformation project with exposure to cutting-edge SAP technologies. The role is critical to ensuring that the organization leverages S/4HANA to drive business value and operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of the procurement solution within the S/4HANA ERP transformation project, ensuring it meets business requirements and aligns with the overall IT strategy.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and design solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient.
- Oversee the implementation of procurement modules in S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration with other modules such as finance, supply chain, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets specific to the procurement workstream.
- Lead workshops, design sessions, and other collaborative activities with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of the solution.
- Establish and enforce standards, best practices, and guidelines for procurement processes within S/4HANA.
- Act as the primary point of contact for procurement-related issues within the S/4HANA project, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including executives, project sponsors, and business leaders.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve procurement processes and the overall architecture within the S/4HANA environment.
- Mentor and train team members and stakeholders on procurement functionalities and best practices within the S/4HANA framework.
Key requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters degree within IT, Computer Science, Business administration or related field
- Proven experience in at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation, specifically involving procurement processes.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly the procurement modules (e.g., MM, Ariba, Supplier Relationship Management).
- Proficiency in integration technologies and methodologies within SAP landscapes (e.g., SAP PI/PO, APIs, IDocs).
- Strong understanding of procurement business processes, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contract management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
