Role Purpose:

A highly skilled IAM Engineer specialising in Privileged Access Management (PAM) to join our global pharmaceutical company’s IAM team. This key role will focus on leading and improving our Delinea PAM solution across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

The ideal candidate will ensure the secure management of privileged accounts, including the delivery of secure remote access solutions, to protect critical systems and data. Working closely with teams worldwide, you will be responsible for adopting and maintaining established methodologies, ensuring compliance and security in a complex, regulated setting.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and improve the Delinea PAM solution in IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments, ensuring secure handling of privileged accounts and providing secure remote access solutions.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with global IAM teams to craft, implement, and maintain PAM standard processes, aligning with the company’s security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Guiding and Training: Guide and train the IAM managed service team, enabling them to effectively handle the operational aspects of the PAM environment at all times.
  • Lead the response to security incidents involving privileged access. Conduct root cause analysis and remediation. Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex PAM issues.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure PAM solutions meet compliance standards, conducting regular audits and reviews of privileged access to maintain security and regulatory adherence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Discover opportunities for process improvements within the PAM framework, driving initiatives to improve security posture and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborator Communication: Share expertise on PAM, giving regular updates and reports to senior management and other collaborators on the status and performance of the PAM solution.

Key requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrable experience with Delinea PAM solutions, including installation, configuration, and management within both IT and OT environments.
  • IAM Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, especially in the context of privileged access and secure remote access.
  • Leadership and Training: Consistent track record in coaching, training, and mentoring technical teams, with experience in guiding service teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent fix and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address sophisticated security incidents and implement effective solutions.
  • Security and Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standard methodologies related to PAM, and experience in conducting security audits and ensuring compliance. Certifications in CISSP Or SSCP would be an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customers.
