Head of People

Our vision at Apadmi is to be recognised as the European leader in the creation of Digital Products, principally through crafting exceptional mobile experiences for our clients and their customers. We are digital experts and we want to be the best in what we do across the UK and beyond. 

Our job in the People Team is to take our vision and goals and bring it to life by implementing a People Strategy that builds culture and capability to deliver our business plan, now and in the future, crafting exceptional candidate and colleague experiences that add value along the way.

But we need some help. Our People Team is award winning, and we have innovation running through our core. We don’t want to be like everyone else. We work at pace, we’re highly organised, and we’re clear on what we need to do, working hard to deliver, holding ourselves and each other accountable. 

We play for the team and we play to win, so we need someone in this role who can fit into our way of working, and who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same. 

We’re looking for someone who can understand the strategic direction of the business and know how to bring that to life. It is super critical that the successful candidate has strong commercial acumen, as we’re more than just a HR delivery function. 

We don’t need a traditional HR Business Partner. We need someone with experience in service design and delivery, and with a proven ability to lead and drive change. We see ourselves as a critical part of our business with an important role to play in the commercial success of Apadmi. 

We always talk about the impact we’re having on the performance of the business, and what needs to change to be even better, with our values and ways of working at the heart of everything we do. 

Reporting into our Chief People Officer, you will own the entire design and delivery of our People Service delivery model, from employee relations, reward and recognition, engagement and performance amongst the key areas, we’ll truly give you the platform to shine. 

Performance is a core feature of this role. We need someone who will continue to iterate on our performance framework to make sure that we’re getting closer to achieving our goals through creating a highly autonomous and aligned colleague community, where our people have a laser focus on delivering what matters the most.

We’ve got a good foundation to build from, but we have a lot of work to do, which is where you step in.
