Head of People Partnering – Crown Paints

  • Would you like to be the lead People & Culture voice for our UK & Ireland teams, guiding both strategic and operational decisions to power our agenda? 
     

As Head of People Partnering, you’ll be the most senior People & Culture colleague for Crown Paints in the UK and Ireland. You’ll lead a team of People Partners and Operations specialists and act as a trusted advisor to leaders at all levels. 
 

Your role will focus on: 

  • Leading and developing a team of around 12 colleagues in People Partnering and Operations. 

  • Partnering with leaders to build strong teams, manage change, and create an engaging employee experience, with focus on employee relations, organisational design and workforce planning. 

  • Working with colleagues across our global People & Culture organisation to bring consistent approaches while tailoring them to local needs. 

  • Ensuring fair and constructive employee relations, including working with unions and handling collective agreements. 

  • Guiding decisions on policies, practices, and compliance with UK & Ireland employment law. 
     

You'll measure your success through positive employee engagement, strong people metrics, and impactful partnerships across the business. 
 

What we’re looking for 

  • Extensive experience in People & Culture / HR, ideally in international organisations. 

  • Experience leading teams and supporting senior leaders in complex environments. 

  • Knowledge of UK & Ireland employment law and experience handling employee/union relations. 

  • Experience navigating a matrixed organisational setup, leading and influencing with consideration of both global and local priorities 

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills — you listen as much as you advise. 

  • Experience guiding strategy and change in a way that brings people along. 

  • Fluency in English as the core business language
