FM Commercial Manager

Salary: £57,000 + £550 P/M Car Allowance + 20% Annual Bonus

Location: Home based with UK Travel when required

What you'll be doing:

• Partner with business bidding teams and Head of Procurement to develop procurement strategies, identify supply chains, and implement sourcing plans for individual bids.

• Prepare and manage detailed bid documentation, evaluate supplier proposals, and conduct negotiations to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality and managing risk.

• Perform cost analysis and modeling for major bids, focusing on key cost elements and drivers to ensure profitability and successful contract delivery.

• Lead supplier evaluation and approval processes, preparing documented recommendations for estimating, operational, and commercial teams.

• Develop and implement supply chain engagement strategies that align with customer needs, including sustainability, diversity, and community initiatives.

• Provide procurement expertise and support to bidding teams, ensuring compliance with corporate procurement processes and governance requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement in procurement practices through staff development and implementation of supply chain management best practices.

What we're looking for:

• A thorough understanding of tendering and procurement process.

• Highly developed collaboration skills 

• Management of risk experience

• Experience with managing large value complex bids

• Knowledge of working within the defence sector
