The Director of Partner Sales - EMEA is a driving force in executing and scaling sales performance through strategic partner relationships for Workiva. This leader will guide a team of Partner Sales professionals responsible for managing Regional, Consulting, and Global Integration Partners and their respective channel sales strategies. You'll leverage your extensive industry experience to implement and optimise the EMEA Channel and Alliance Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, drive net-new growth, and cultivate new sales opportunities through the partner ecosystem. This role requires strong collaboration with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales Operations to ensure programme success and achieve aggressive targets.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Partner Sales professionals.

  • Drive significant sales performance and partner adoption by engaging strategically with Sales and championing co-selling initiatives within partner organisations

  • Lead and champion comprehensive cross-functional partnership programmes in collaboration within Workiva’s GTM ecosystem to achieve sales objectives

  • Deliver exceptional results, consistently achieving and surpassing ambitious revenue goals and key metrics that drive significant mutual business growth for Workiva and our partners

  • Empower and cultivate a high-performing team, providing ongoing coaching, development, and strategic guidance to foster a culture of excellence and maximise individual and collective impact

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related experience in software and/or SaaS Alliance leadership and/or consulting

  • 5+ years of team management experience

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successfully on channel sales strategies across a diverse partner/alliance ecosystem.

  • Experience interacting cross-functionally in a matrix-oriented environment critical

  • Exceptional business acumen across core EMEA markets

  • Proven ability to develop and execute a strategy involving multiple stakeholders

  • Experience interacting cross-functionally in a matrix-oriented environment critical (including but not limited to sales, services, product, customer success, marketing, operations)

  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strategic mindset and ability to identify ways to successfully develop and execute a strategy

  • Ability to set goals with clear success measures

  • Ability to engage and collaborate with senior leaders and external Partners

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programmes, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving/critical thinking skills

 

Travel Requirement & Working Conditions

  • Up to 35% travel across EMEA for regular customer meetings and events

  • Reliable internet access required for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
