The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our friendly team of Business Intelligence experts. A Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a crucial role in helping organizations make informed business decisions by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data. You will work on cutting-edge projects by designing and mapping data models to turn raw data into meaningful insights and utilize different tools to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports. You will also be able to expand your knowledge in a pleasant and inspiring environment.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Collect, process, and analyze large sets of data from various sources
- Utilize BI tools and technologies to extract meaningful insights from raw data
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate Key Business Metrics
- Present findings and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner
- Collaborate with business users to understand their data and reporting needs
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data analysis and reporting
- Design and implement data models to support business reporting and analysis
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Identify trends and patterns in data to support forecasting and planning activities
- Provide recommendations for business strategy based on data analysis
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BI
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing BI processes and tools
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering or Information Technology or other relevant field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions
- Proficient in using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAPBI)
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, data warehouses) and data modelling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to align BI solutions with organizational goals
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement
