Bid responses are formal proposals that detail our services and tailored solutions. We submit these responses to potential clients to secure contracts and deliver exceptional projects.

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a talented and motivated Bid Writer to join our Win Work team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in producing high-quality bid responses that help us secure new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

• Storyboard, answer-plan and write compelling bid responses that effectively address client requirements and highlight AtkinsRéalis' strengths.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, contributors, reviewers and the core bid team to gather information and ensure the accuracy and relevance of bid content.
• Edit and proof read bid documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with client specifications.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
• Maintain a library of bid templates, case studies, and other relevant materials to support the bid writing process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in writing, preferably within the engineering, construction or consulting industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• APMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Proof reading or copy editing qualification is a plus.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
