As an Apprentice Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team to develop and design fire detection devices. This apprenticeship will provide you with hands-on experience and training in mechanical design, Product Lifecycle Management Systems, CAD software, and engineering principles.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Documentation: Update and manage product documentation in our Product Lifecycle Management system.
- Design Support: Assist in designing life safety products that are optimised for manufacturing and assembly.
- Innovation: Identify and introduce new technologies or sustainable materials.
- 3D CAD design: Use Solidworks for part and assembly modelling and 2D drafting.
- Quality Control: Check drawings and documentation for errors.

- The ability to be innovative and solutions-driven towards all business challenges.
