Job Description:
Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Accounting Specialist to join a experienced team on a 12 month Fixed Term contract this role will be all round support within the finance team. This will be a remote position travelling to Birmingham supporting the Finance Manager in account payable- function.
Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for accounts payable function with business partnering requests.

Support on statutory accounts preparation and delivery.

Guidance in general accounting and management accounting tasks; cashflow, account reconciliations including payroll and key balance sheet accounts ie. accruals, CIP, Fixed Assets, prepayments, general support to corporate operation teams across UK and IE.

Delivery of Purchase Order and PR raising, goods receipting and validation.

Creation of bank payments and general adhoc duties as instructed the CSS FO manager and corporate financial controller.
Background:
-
Finance qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
-
Experience within a fast-paced finance team

Demonstrable experience of Accounts Payable

Excellent IT skills including Excel, experience with S4 Hana

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at varying levels
