LSH Auto is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Workshop Technical Controller to join the team at our dealership in Macclesfield. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the technical operations of our workshop, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with manufacturer standards. You will collaborate closely with our technicians and management team to optimise workflow and maintain our commitment to excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and review technical work performed within the workshop to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate repair and maintenance activities, ensuring resources are effectively utilised.
  • Provide technical support to technicians and assist in diagnosing complex issues.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with management to implement best practices and improve service processes.

Salary - £36,253 OTE up to £54,000

Hours - 45


Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Significant experience in a technical or controller role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and machinery.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Full UK driving licence is required.
