Join our dynamic team as the VP of Consumer Marketing - Esports, Festivals & Digital Platform, where you will spearhead marketing initiatives for EFG, focusing on growing hours watched, ticket sales, attendance, monthly active users (MAUs), and fan acquisition across our esports events, festivals, and digital platforms

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our product organization to craft and implement a world-class multi-year marketing strategy that aligns with our ambitious company goals. As a senior leader in our global marketing team, you will drive harmony and innovation across functions, inspiring creativity and fostering collaboration.

We are seeking an autonomous and proactive team player who is passionate about leveraging emerging trends and insights to energize our brand and connect with our audience. If you're ready to take us to the next level of growth and impact in the exciting world of esports and digital entertainment, we want to hear from you!

The ideal candidate for this position will reside within the CET time zone (+/- 1 hour). This role will lead of team of 10-15 and will report to our SVP Marketing.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team while retaining top talent for engaging creative output.
  • Direct and guide the team's prioritization and resource maximization for marketing initiatives aligned with business unit priorities while adhering to budgets.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively to support business priorities and achieve commercial revenue targets.
  • Lead the development of the annual marketing strategy, Go-To-Market plans, and budget management to promote growth and meet company goals.
  • Serve as the voice of players and fans in marketing initiatives, using multi-channel storytelling to build lasting relationships within the community.
  • Implement and maintain ongoing user acquisition marketing programs to increase FACEIT’s Monthly Active Users (MAU) and boost platform Hours Watched.
Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent. Master’s degree or equivalent preferred. Relevant additional experience will be accounted for in lieu of degree
  • Experience working with data-driven, growth, lifecycle and performance marketing
  • Extensive experience working within eCommerce-led businesses – particularly a mix of physical and digital goods
  • Extensive experience in developing one-to-one communication on a mass scale
  • Experience with working closely with media teams or agencies
  • Experience with brands focused on entertainment, culture or youth preferred
  • Ability to collaborate and drive cross-discipline programs
  • Strong initiative, creativity, sense of drive and ambition
  • Consistent record of handling uncertainty, projects in different stages of maturity, and stakeholders in both commercial and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; analytical skills
  • Impeccable process management skills; able to get results across multiple parallel processes across multiple regions
  • Prior experience developing innovative strategies and delivering against roadmaps
  • Well-rounded product and marketing experience with advanced knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product, and communications management.

  • Collaborate closely with leaders from various global EFG teams—including sales, product, marketing, and finance—to foster a collaborative atmosphere at all levels.

  • Rely on strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to inspire others, even without direct control, for success in this role.
