Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the evolution of the Salt Design System by defining, designing, and enhancing high-quality components and patterns for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement high-quality design components and patterns.
- Utilize your knowledge of design tokens to style components effectively and maintain consistency across the system.
- Be a brand ambassador, ensuring alignment with J.P. Morgan brand style guides.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions, ensuring they meet business and user needs.
- Stay abreast of the latest design trends and Figma features, leveraging them to enhance the design system and its consumer resources.
- Analyze market trends, gather feedback from user research, and learn from data insights to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Formal experience and expertise in product design or similar roles.
- Proven experience in creating and managing complex design systems for enterprise organizations.
- Experience applying WCAG accessibility principles.
- Familiar with brand style guides
- Practical knowledge of design tokens and their application in styling components.
- Proficiency in Figma, with confidence in using its latest features and capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to create visually stunning designs with an established design system.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in designing for mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with the financial sector and its unique design challenges.
