Job Description

Do you have a strong eye for details? Would you be energized by catching discrepancies? If so, our Fraud department may be the ideal environment for you! Our Verification Analysts are our frontline defence against Fraudsters! You know what they say, your best defence is a good offence! Our Verification team ensures the validity of all the documents submitted by our customers immediately protecting both their identities and security.

Your playing field:

  • Manage daily tasks and priorities, ensuring steady progress and meeting all SLAs—just like a team sticking to its game plan.
  • Review and confirm customer documents, such as passports, IDs, and bank statements, while investigating accounts with the precision of a referee checking a crucial decision.
  • Process withdrawals, track down missing deposits, and resolve payment-related issues—ensuring every transaction reaches the right destination, just like a perfect assist.
  • Manage escalations related to owed funds, reconciliations, fraud cases, and other critical issues, ensuring the defense stays solid and no risks slip through.
  • Provide clear guidance to customers and colleagues, answering ad-hoc questions and escalating key issues to the Team Lead CO AML—just like a captain keeping the team organized on the pitch.
  • Ensure all department procedures are followed, proactively contribute to system, process, and department improvements, and assist other teams in Customer Operations when needed—because great teams succeed by working together and refining their strategy.

Qualifications

Which skills you should bring to the pitch:

  • Detail Oriented. You are energised by scrutinising information and documentation to ensure validity. You love solving a good ‘who done it’ mystery.
  • Trustworthy. You help prevent identity theft, terrorist financing, money laundering and financial fraud. Ensuring our customers have a safe place to maximize their love of the game!
  • Tech Savvy. You are skilled in using MS Office Programs and can quickly familiarise yourself with new systems.
  • Good knowledge of the English language. Our team consists of more than 30 different nationalities working together to achieve the Tipico mission. English is also the official language of the Tipico Malta office.
  • Flexible. You would be required to work in shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Additional Skills:

  • Score some extra points with us by already having experience in the iGaming or sports betting field.
  • German Language Skills. As we are the number #1 sports betting company in Germany, this is beneficial when verifying German documents.
