Position Summary:

We are looking for a UX/UI designer with experience designing for technical products and a passion for solving complex problems. The ideal candidate will focus on brand management and customer needs. The UX/UI Designer role is responsible for leading user interface design across the organization, and this person will be crucial in defining the user experience across our product lines. The UX/UI Designer will analyze the current workflows, conduct user research and work with multiple stakeholders to understand our strategy. The ideal candidate will design an integrated UX/UI workflow that supports a more intuitive self-service model across our product suite. The role will workclosely with our engineering, product, commercial and marketing teams in support of our organizational goals and product roadmaps. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product and Tech partners to strategize, design, and develop streamlined user experiences that will integrate across our ecosystem 
  • Contribute as a designer from end-to-end on projects, which means you are comfortable as a researcher, data scientist, strategist, and designer 
  • Collaborate with tech leads, product managers, developers, system architects, and design teams on research activities, strategy sessions, ideation, design, and testing of new product concepts 
  • Perform design research and create communication tools, such as journey maps, service blueprints, prototypes and wireframes 
  • Be an advocate for our customers through participation in customer-centered research and design 
  • Translate user needs, style guides, and requirements into elegant solutions for complex problems 
  • Leverage analytics tools to measure success, present opportunities, and support decision-making 
  • Create user-flow diagrams and wireframes and design low to high-fidelity mockups 
  • Support and collaborate on a variety of products and new product development from ideation through wireframes, agile iteration, launch, and ongoing feature enhancements 
  • Build and quickly iterate interactive prototypes in response to client feedback 
  • Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the Xpansiv brand 
  • Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our Products 
  • Improve overall user experience on our products on web and mobile app 
  • Ensure consistency across products, define design patterns and contribute to the current style guide as our products grow

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years design experience in a consulting or in-house environment 
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills 
  • Prior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations 
  • Prior exposure to UX research, including planning, designing, and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings, and articulating results 
  • Experience developing component libraries and design systems from thoroughly annotated wires to clickable prototypes 
  • Capable of generating ideas and prototyping concepts that are anchored in research insights, subject knowledge, technology requirements, and business goals 
  • Experience designing for enterprise or technical experiences
