This role

As our UK Brand Lead, you’ll work closely with the UK VP of Marketing and Global Brand leadership, owning the UK brand strategy and leading a multi-discipline team to elevate Employment Hero’s brand presence in the UK.

This strategically important role will see you shape the brand story, drive awareness, deliver bold campaigns, and champion Employment Hero’s mission to simplify work for SMBs. You’ll work closely with global teams, external brand media partners, and creative agencies to craft a challenger brand that stands out in a competitive SaaS landscape.

With direct reports including a Brand Design Lead and an Events Specialist, you’ll be hands-on in executing campaigns while building a high-performing, creative team.

Your key focus areas will be:
  • Growing Employment Hero’s brand presence and awareness in the UK market, positioning EH as a challenger brand that resonates with SMBs
  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver creative campaigns and initiatives that support commercial goals
  • Partnering with global brand teams and external media agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns
  • Owning the UK organic social strategy, brand partnerships, and major events to foster a thriving EH community
This will include:
  • Owning the UK brand strategy, brand media execution, and creative direction to grow the Employment Hero brand
  • Designing and delivering bold, multi-channel campaigns that cut through a competitive market
  • Leading partnerships with brand media partners, agencies, and internal teams to execute high-impact campaigns
  • Acting as a builder: scrappy, resourceful, and hands-on with content creation, design direction, and campaign delivery
  • Driving UK social media strategy and campaigns to engage and grow the EH community
  • Advocating for regional needs and tailoring global brand strategies for the UK market
  • Overseeing production of compelling assets such as videos, case studies, sales enablement content, webinars, and in-person events
  • Using data and insights to inform campaign decisions, track ROI, and report results to key stakeholders
  • Leading and developing a small but mighty team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and ownership
Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impat. For this role, you’ll also bring:

  • 9+ years of brand-building experience, including paid brand media management across agency, client-side, and/or scale-up environments
  • 5+ years leading high-performing brand, creative, or events teams in a high-growth business
  • A track record of building challenger brands, bringing creativity, fresh thinking, and bold campaign ideas
  • Hands-on leadership experience across digital, content, events, and brand media channels
  • Direct experience managing external brand partners and agencies to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital and social strategy (organic and paid), with a focus on measurable results
  • Analytical mindset with confidence in tracking funnel metrics, ROI, and performance reporting
  • Experience with marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo, and Braze
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting UK SMBs through meaningful brand initiatives
  • Experience in SaaS or technology marketing across B2B and B2C audiences is a bonus
