We are looking for a Training & Competence Coordinator for our Offshore Service department.
How to contribute to our vision
This is a subject matter expert role in operational competence and training for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) offshore service business. The remit of the role covers SGRE’s Offshore service operations portfolio which is currently active within UK, Central Europe, US, and Asia Pacific.
In this position you will provide administrative support and coordination for training & competence topics that spans our offshore service operations fleet. You will interact on a routine basis with the Site Management and Advanced operational coordinators on our windfarms, as well as other stakeholders like Operational Excellence, Major Projects and Resource Management
You will report directly to the Operational Competency Team Lead work and closely with the Training & Competence team.
As Training & Competence Coordinator you are accountable to:
- Supports the compliance of Offshore Service with the Service Wind Technician Competency Framework, @SGRE framework by administering certificates in line with qualification management processes and data protection laws.
- Coordinate’s data to produce reports to service senior leadership team on compliance with mandatory training frameworks.
- Produces monthly training gap analysis for technicians, site managers and operation managers as required.
- Liaises with sites on training and competence topics and holds regular meetings to run through the training gap analysis to address the gaps and support with the planning process.
- Uses Salesforce to manage inbound and outbound correspondence to internal and external customers.
- Communicates with internal and external customers on the needs of compliance and competence for all operational Service roles and tasks pertaining to Service.
- Maintain excellent working relationships and connections with the training center's and the global training excellence team to support with training demand and compliance requests from the windfarms.
- Takes minutes of meetings for Regional Competency Committee and shares actions.
- Attends Global Competency Committee and Regional Competency Committee in place of the team lead if they are absent.
- Implement new training certificates and requirements for the region within the gap analysis and training web. This involves liaising with the global training excellence team and local EHS.
- Training new users on various systems and remotely providing first tier customer. support in case of arising problems.
- Drives complex issues and questions to respectively qualified Service Technicians.
- Cooperates with clients and representatives to clarify orders and issues.
- Participates in investigating and resolving system and/or technical problems.
What you need to make a difference

- Excellent Knowledge of the end-to-end training cycle and training web platform
- Understanding of the of applicable Competence Frameworks (Service Wind Technician Competency Framework.
- Proficient in Salesforce
- Excellent communications skills
- Excellent customer service skills & experience
- Experience of pulling reports and data manipulation and data analysis (Gap Analysis)
- Influencing and negotiating skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft platforms.
