The Role: 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality documentation with an understanding of the key role it plays in a successful Tech company. 

You will be part of the Product Enablement Technical Writing  team within Product Management who are on a mission to help customers make the best use of Marigold product capabilities. We do this through both the video content and documentation we publish internally and externally to optimize ROI and time to value for our customers.  In addition you will contribute to other user and technical documentation in line with business priorities

As part of the product enablement team you will contribute to team goals of creating valuable user content, making that content easy to find, driving content adoption and measuring success. You will support adoption of new tools and processes as the team evolves to meet the needs of the business. 
 
What You’ll Do: 

Develop a deep understanding of portfolio capabilities and new releases
Research and collaborating with target audiences
Research and gathering user, and technical user information
Create clear and concise material, including visuals, to provide step by step guides to accomplish tasks with defined outcomes
Take care of layout design and consistency, editing and proofreading to ensure documentation meets Marigold technical writing standards
Update, revise, and rewrite existing materials
Keep up to date with best practices in documentation

Ideal Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years technical writing experience in B2B software

  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts, processes and business outcomes, clearly and concisely for the target audiences including marketing and technical users

  • Preference for collaboration and feedback to continuously improve

  • Ability to engage with all stakeholders including product, SMEs, engineering, support, technical services and customer success teams

  • Tenacity to pursue a deep understanding of all required subject matter from a wide range of sources and colleagues to ensure highly effective documentation  

Nice to Have: 

  • Knowledge of Marigold capabilities

  • Familiarity with Madcap Flare or similar technical authoring tool

  • Experience with digital marketing and a strong understanding of the MarTech space
