Job Summary:

We require an enthusiastic individual to join our IT team, providing 1st and 2nd level support to Cultura’s UK and Ireland businesses. This is a junior role and is offered on a hybrid basis, with the requirement to work one day per week in our office in Chorley, Lancashire, UK.

Job Description:

As part of the IT Team supporting Cultura's UK and Ireland businesses, you will report to the IT Manager and take ownership of the service desk, providing high level remote and on-site support to our users. You will investigate and diagnose desktop, server and network issues and maintenance tasks, including the internal knowledgebase, and maintain mobile devices. You will configure and install IT solutions and develop automation and process improvements within the team based in ITIL principles.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer science or related field would be advantageous.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role providing IT support (1st & 2nd level).
  • Experience in working with and supporting end user devices (notebooks, tablets, Macbooks, iPads etc).
  • In depth knowledge of MacOS and Windows operating systems (desktop and server).
  • Proficient in hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting software applications.
  • IP Networking/Switching experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a solid attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently but also effectively as part of a team.
