Role Summary and Impact
As a Technical SEO Account Director, you’ll will:
- Act as the lead strategist on key client accounts, responsible for technical SEO delivery and client satisfaction
- Lead audits, roadmap creation, and technical recommendations in areas such as crawlability, indexation, site speed and structured data
- Plan and deliver site migrations, collaborating with dev teams to ensure minimal SEO impact
- Monitor client performance and create insightful reports to guide strategic decisions
- Participate in pitches and new business opportunities, contributing technical recommendations and solutions
- Drive change to automate more Digital PR department actions to drive profitability and time efficiency
- Build and support on strategic relationships within GroupM
- Commercial understanding to support Head of Technical SEO in delivering department profitability and grow income
- Ensure you keep up to date with developments in the SEO marketplace through reading trade press

- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a specialist SEO role with a strong technical focus, preferably in an agency environment.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
- Proven track record of delivering measurable performance results for clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing technical projects such as migrations, audits, or CMS changes
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills
- Enthusiastic about collaboration and continuous learning
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks based on client demands.
