Technical QA Analyst

We are looking for a Technical QA Analyst to join our Software Services Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of technical testing, including but not limited to:

• Automation testing
• Performance testing
• Security and vulnerability testing

You will design, write, and execute technical tests to ensure comprehensive coverage and maximum efficiency. Your work will help ensure that high-quality code is released into production for our .NET and Web applications.

Salary: £40,000 to £48,000

Location: Head Office, Bury, Greater Manchester

Qualifications:

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
• ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst - Desirable
• 5+ years QA experience
• 2+ years automation experience

Key Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:

• Demonstrable experience working within an Agile Methodology (both Scrum and Kanban)
• Demonstrable experience of test automation
• Demonstrable experience of performance testing
• Demonstrable experience of testing web-based systems, including the user interface/web screen and web services
• Demonstrable experience of testing windows based applications
• Experience of technical testing tools e.g. Selenium, Visual Studio, Unix, Moq, AppCheck, NUnit, Postman (or equivalent)
• .Net C# Knowledge, ability to understand basic code e.g. IF statements
• SQL Knowledge, ability to understand basic queries/code
• Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and Branching
• Ability to cope with working on multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Ability to interact confidently with both technical and non-technical persons
• Demonstrable experience of test planning and reporting
