We're looking for a TCO & FinOps Analyst to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and FinOps capabilities, helping the business better understand functional costs, cloud spend and key cost drivers across the organisation.

As a TCO & FinOps Analyst, you'll provide valuable insight that supports informed decision-making, cost transparency and financial accountability. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Technology and other Functions, Cloud Engineering and Vendor Management, helping identify opportunities to optimise investment while ensuring stakeholders have access to clear and meaningful cost information.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build expertise in FinOps, cloud cost management and business partnering within a collaborative and purpose-led environment.

How you’ll help us make health happen

  • Support the production of reporting and analysis across technology contracts, licences, cloud services and service allocations across all functions.

  • Monitor, analyse and report on cloud consumption and spend, identifying trends, anomalies and opportunities for further investigation.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards and analysis that communicate technology costs, cloud spend and optimisation opportunities.

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities relating to cloud services, technology contracts and service fee allocations.

  • Support cost allocation methodologies and help ensure the quality and consistency of reporting data.

  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Technology and Cloud teams to improve cost visibility and transparency.

  • Support FinOps initiatives by helping identify opportunities to optimise cloud spend and improve usage efficiency.

  • Assist with the administration and development of cloud cost management tools and reporting solutions.

  • Help document processes and ensure activities align with governance requirements.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Technology and the wider business.

Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role

We're looking for someone who enjoys using data to solve problems and drive better decision-making.

  • Working towards a finance qualification such as CIMA or ACCA would be preferred

  • Experience or a strong interest in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cost management or FinOps.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to gather, validate and interpret data accurately is essential

  • Good Microsoft Excel skills and an interest in developing knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools.

  • An understanding of cloud services, software licensing, technology costs or contract management would be beneficial.

  • An interest in cloud cost management tools such as Cloudability, Azure Cost Management or similar platforms would be beneficial but not essential

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.

  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
