Job Description

Specialist Sales Manager - Sustainability

Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to work alongside the Sales Teams in promoting MillerKnoll Sustainability proposition so as a collective we can exceed the agreed financial targets across MillerKnoll family the brands portfolio.

Lead the commercial strategic direction of the Sustainability offering across the UK and European sales teams.

Activities

  • Targeting key commercial activity with our Dealer Community, Influencers and end users directly or as part of a team.
  • Use sound data to compound selling opportunities.
  • Owning your area of expertise: develop training plan for designated audiences and training in the insights to enable them to position the MillerKnoll as the industry leader, deliver sustainability sales stores in a branded , compelling and professional manner.
  • Develop relationships with targeted groups to enable pre-selling and positioning of your area of expertise the earliest opportunity, and to ensure the right product offer is proposed against the client’s specific needs.
  • Being seen as the Subject Matter Expert in your area of expertise, building insights around Compelling Value Propositions that bind customers to our products and solution driven outcomes.
  • Supporting Dealer with sales & technical information on request.
  • Liaising with all global sustainability leads (corp. sustainability team, product management & operations) on sustainability aspects of our portfolio and building a research-based views of the market as a share out for future development.
  • Deep understanding of our competition, building strategies to win.
  • Own the “space” in our facilities to support key building tours from across Europe.
  • Build the passion in new starters  with enthusiastic induction training for the sustainability aspect of the business.
  • Media activities  to drive portfolio engagement – Interviews/Social Media/Exhibitions/Awards.
  • Work with US counterparts to establish and support company response to the upcycling revenue generation.
