Responsibilities
- Proficient in Aircraft level Environmental Control Systems Architecture and flow down of high-level system requirements, System Testing and Safety assessments.
- Responsible for end-to-end system activities for Environmental Control Systems product development.
- Working knowledge of DO-178B/C and ARP4754 development cycle and documentation.
- Proficient Knowledge of System Equipment Specification (SES), Digital Interface Requirements (DIRS), Inter Internal communication Document (IICD) and Software Requirement Specification (SRS).
- Ability to develop, validate and verify system level design, functional and operational requirements for UAM platform, General Aviation and ATR segments.
- Engages in software architecture, design and requirement reviews as a key input provider, first-level approver.
- Responsible to ensure products are compliance with the Certification Requirements.
- Demonstrated capability to perform system integration testing or functional qualification testing using system integration benches.
- Be the system point of contact for the Hardware and Software Design and Verification.
- Hands on experience on System Integration Test Tools and scripting languages like Autolaws.
- Having exposure on System Integration bench setup (CIVF) with Toolsets like Unity, CMS, BETSI & EDAT.
- Good understanding of communication protocols like AFDX, CAN, A429.
- Proficient experience on Change Management Tools (ex: DOORS, Serena, DOORS NG).
- Knowledge on Agile (Sprint, Kanban) and waterfall models and practices.
- Knowledge on Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) process and methods.
- Provide technical expertise as a mentor to other team members.
- Interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and able to support aircraft level verification activity.
- Be flexible and support any system engineering activities to meet the project milestones.
- Use expert knowledge of systems engineering and Honeywell standards, processes, and tools in order to complete and ensure compliance with various projects.
- Support Project Leads for the preparation and execution of project plans, schedules, cost estimates, baseline change management, risk mitigation, and cost/schedule/status reporting.
- Contribute to ECS product strategies, technology roadmaps and improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
Qualifications
Must have:
- B.E / B. Tech / M. Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Control System Engineering.
- Minimum of 8+ years of aerospace engineering experience in a system/software architecture, design, validation, verification and certification, control system related experience.
