Group Summary:
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Exceed our customer's expectations by resolving problems quickly and professionally. Challenge the team to explore all possible alternatives for problem solving.
  • Continuously improve the quality standards of all products manufactured by T.E.A.M Systems.
  • Track the effectiveness of all systems required to maintain on-time delivery of product. React immediately to resolve any issues, which may interrupt the scheduled delivery of product to the customer.
  • Keep the entire organization focused on continuous improvement to ensure a reduction in manufacturing costs.
  • Participate as required in continuous improvement teams and provide leadership and support to teams in their efforts to meet and exceed targeted goals.
  • Follow Magna's Employee charter and ensure that all T.E.A.M. Systems team members understand and follow the principles of the charter.
  • Follow the guidelines of the T.E.A.M. Systems Employee Handbook and its addendum. This includes the equal enforcement of all policies across the department.
  • Completely daily payroll with accuracy to ensure that all team members are compensated accurately.
  • Complete daily shift reporting as required by area.
  • Motivate and focus teams on hitting all production targets that feed into the departmental KPI's.
  • Prepare for daily tasks by being in the department at scheduled times.


Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or five (5) years of directly related job experience combined with some formal training.
  • Related formal training will be considered in lieu of degree requirements.


Your preferred qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in the management of hourly team members in a production environment.
