As a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Strategic Growth Office and a part of the Aumni Team you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job Responsibilities

• Develop, debug and maintain code in a corporate environment.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into functional UI components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Create and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable codebase.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
• Write unit, component, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring smooth application functionality.
• Ensure intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
• Implement common UX patterns.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation.
• Implement security best practices.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
• Familiarity with automated testing and frameworks like Jest and Cypress.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with version control platforms like GitHub.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies like TypeScript
• Knowledge of server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js.
• Familiarity with User Experience best practices to develop customer friendly interfaces.
• Exposure to agile methodologies and ceremonies.
• Understanding of Figma and other design tools.
• Good understanding of accessibility standards.
