We're looking for a talented Software Developer to join our growing technology team on a remote basis out of the UK, Netherlands or Ireland. Working on the development and enhancement of business-critical global applications, this is an exciting opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, delivering innovative solutions that have a real impact on international operations.
You'll collaborate with experienced colleagues, contribute to major projects, support live applications, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across our technology landscape.
About the role:
- Developing, testing, and delivering high-quality software solutions
- Working across the full software development lifecycle on global applications
- Supporting and enhancing existing systems to agreed service levels
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges
- Contributing innovative ideas and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting the deployment of major projects and system enhancements
- Ensuring development standards and best practices are consistently followed
What you will bring:
- Degree-qualified in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent commercial experience
- Experience delivering software development projects in a commercial environment
- Preferably expertise using PROGRESS
- Knowledge of relational databases and database querying
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command-line tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for developing robust solutions
- Ability to manage changing priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of enterprise-scale applications and global business operations
- Commitment to coding standards, quality, and continuous learning
