SME Senior Marketing Executive 

Hybrid Working Options Available  

Location: Bupa Place, Salford Quays  

Fixed term contract: 12 months 

Salary range: £30,900 - £38,600 

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

As a SME Senior Marketing Executive you will lead the planning and delivery of full‑funnel marketing campaigns to grow the SME health insurance market, driving awareness, lead generation, and customer conversion. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll support the development of marketing strategies and initiatives that maximise revenue, improve customer profitability, and achieve annual AOP targets for the UK Insurance product line. 

 

How you’ll help us make health happen: 

 

  • Support the delivery of multiple projects and initiatives including campaigns, lead nurture journeys, non-converter journeys to help boost awareness, preference and conversion of Bupa and health & wellbeing to new prospects. 

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including Sales, Product, Legal and Compliance. 

  • Assist Marketing Executive to help deliver initiatives and creative while developing their skills and knowledge. 

  • Ensure everything we do has the customer in mind, meeting our brand guidelines and our regulatory and legal responsibilities. 

  • Work closely with external agencies and internal teams to contribute to the wider marketing plan, including media and creative partners. 

  • Ensure messaging is optimised and consistent across our marketing channels, championing Bupa, Better for Business and This Is Health brands. 

 

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: 

 

  • Experience generating and maximising lead generation 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with and influence other areas of the business at all levels 

  • Media agency experience and confident working with a wide marketing mix including: PPC, SEO, Social, Radio and Email Marketing 

  • Organised and methodical, comfortable working with competing deadlines and priorities 

  • Experience of managing projects and working across multiple channels and customer journeys 

  • Great understanding of marketing principals, particularly APC funnels and lead nurture 

  • Analytical and results-driven, ideally with experience of analytics software 

  • Experience in a financially regulated environment with a clear customer focus 

  • Passionate about development and identifying opportunities to learn and become a stronger marketer
