Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to:
  • Manage and monitor all live planned shutoffs across the rehab contract, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely delivery
  • Contact and confirm shutoff requirements with operational teams/turnkeys prior to works commencing, identifying any cancellations, amendments, or risks
  • Issue the correct Risk Assessment (RA) documentation to the competent person in advance of planned shutoffs, ensuring all operational steps and controls are clearly communicated
  • Verify that the correct, in-date RA is present on site prior to isolation activities commencing
  • Confirm pre-site checks have been completed and approved
  • Monitor shutoff progress in real time, maintaining regular communication with field teams throughout the duration of the outage
  • Escalate delays or potential overruns
  • Ensure shutoff start and restoration times are accurately recorded and communicated in line with client and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and timely updates within company works management and shutoff tracking systems
  • Provide daily and weekly operational updates and reports as required
  • Ensure all health, safety, compliance, and customer-related concerns are reported and managed in line with company procedures
  • Provide a positive and proactive contribution to the operational team, supporting continuous improvement and problem solving

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Previous experience within utilities, operational coordination, streetworks, water network operations, or a similar fast-paced environment desirable
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple live activities simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions within time-critical situations
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational records
  • Confident liaising with operational teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and clients
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements within operational or construction environments desirable
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and works management systems
