💻 Role
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Talent Management & Performance Lead with a proven track record of success in leading performance programs and processes end-to-end in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a leader with expertise in program management to architect and fully own the strategic direction, seamless execution, and continuous improvement of our performance programs that align with company objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
The Senior Talent Management & Performance Lead will:
- Lead the end-to-end design and execution of cyclical performance and feedback processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, effective communication and education for managers and employees, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Programs include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performance & Compensation Reviews: Lead the performance, promotion, and compensation review processes, coordinating across cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring fair and equitable outcomes that support our pay for performance philosophy.
- Feedback: Design and implement or iterate on effective 360 and top-down feedback mechanisms, ensuring managers and employees regularly give and receive feedback for continuous growth and development.
- Talent Reviews: Develop and manage efficient and meaningful processes to identify our strongest talent and gain a deep understanding of capability needs as the company grows and evolves.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to align performance strategies with organizational goals and workforce planning.
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess talent performance trends, provide recommendations, and drive continuous improvement.
- Leverage new methodologies and technologies to improve individual and organizational performance outcomes and stay up-to-date on trends and innovations in performance strategies,
- Enhance and maintain the Company-Level Competencies Framework, ensuring seamless integration with broader talent and career growth initiatives as well as functional alignment.
Required to be within commuting distance of our New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles hubs.

As our next Senior Talent Management & Performance Lead you should have experience in high growth startups, plus:
- 7+ years of experience in talent management, performance development, or HR strategy roles with demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Strong expertise in performance management frameworks, employee development programs, and engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, timelines, and deliverables using project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive talent initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with HR technology platforms and performance management tools.
- Ability to influence and lead change in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
💰Compensation
This is an hourly paid, independent contractor engagement with an anticipated workload of 30-40 hours per week. Rate will be based on a number of factors including relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise.
