Join our dynamic team as a talented and fast-paced engineer and play a pivotal role in our product expansion.At Stord, engineers are empowered to own entire features, influencing specifications, building and enhancing our Elixir/Phoenix back-end, and collaborating with the React front-end. You'll be instrumental in the ongoing improvement of a product that is revolutionizing the third-party logistics (3PL) industry. Leading omni-channel brands rely on our innovative, world-class logistics network software to optimize their warehouse processes and order fulfillment, leveraging its powerful automations and order management tools to achieve cost savings and operational excellence.What You'll Do:
Drive the evolution of the Stord platform by owning the complete lifecycle of new features: from conception and testing to iterative delivery.
Contribute to and enhance both our robust back-end (Elixir/Phoenix) and engaging front-end (React) services.
Partner with teams across the organization to gain deep insights into customer and vendor needs, develop effective solutions, and rapidly bring them to life through prototyping, iteration, and launch.
Collaborate with a team of bright and driven individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional work.
Engage with and solve a wide spectrum of challenging technical and groundbreaking supply chain problems.
A genuine passion for building exceptional software that provides outstanding user experiences.
Highly effective communication skills to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively.
A strong belief in the value of test-driven development and collaborative code reviews.
The ability to adapt quickly and thrive in the dynamic environment of a startup.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Elixir or other functional programming paradigms.
Solid experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks.
Experience in transforming design wireframes into fully functional production features.
The ability to produce clean, dependable, and easily maintainable code.
A strong intrinsic motivation to tackle and resolve complex issues.
Previous startup experience
Previous logistics or supply chain experience
