About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Senior SAP Application Expert SD to join our Global Information Technology team. In this role, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, driving the delivery of flawless IT solutions and elevating our business processes. You will also play a crucial role in implementing innovative IT initiatives that strictly adhere to Lonza's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT initiatives, supervise internal and external IT Application Experts, and ensure alignment with Lonza's standards and guidelines.
•  Analyze and prioritize user requirements, provide advisory to internal collaborators in SAP SD, approve concepts and specifications, and lead workshops.
•  Manage the configuration and customization of systems, develop test plans, and supply to test script creation, execution, and training documentation.
• Partner with system development providers, train them on Lonza standards, monitor software programming, and perform quality control of deliverables.
•  Coordinate the integration of system improvements, ensure detailed testing, and transfer new applications to the support organization.
• Provide advanced support for complex incidents, contribute to resolving critical/urgent issues, and coordinate professional problem management.
• Take accountability for SAP SD, work on continuous improvement of Lonza's custom IT business applications, and advise on innovative IT technologies.

Key Requirements

•  Strong knowledge in SAP SD and its integration with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, CO.
•  Proficiency in SAP SD configuration and basic ABAP knowledge.
• Solid grasp of Order-to-Cash business processes.
• Familiarity with SAP GTS (Customs Management, Compliance Management) and S/4 HANA, including technical concepts like business partner concept, advanced ATP, Fiori, or BRF+.
• Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
• Experience with IT project methodologies.
•  Proven ability to teach and guide others.
• Good interpersonal skills with excellent presentation and moderation abilities.
