Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Operations Manager in our Global Product Tribe to join our growing Product Operations team in London. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission, grow as a product operations leader and empower millions more people with instant, borderless money.

About the role

Product Ops is a relatively small team of specialists at Wise. Their focus is the machine (people & process) which builds our product. We have 120+ autonomous product teams, organised into business units. Our product teams are cross functional and made up of some of the best engineers, product managers, analysts, designers, data scientists & researchers on the planet! 

This role will be a critical hire for our Global Product Tribe, which is responsible for setting the vision and strategies for Wise’s consumer experience propositions. By the end of 2025 there will be about 400 people and close to 40 cross functional teams located between London, Singapore, Budapest and Tallinn. As a Product Operations Manager you will be accountable for driving operational excellence across the Tribe. You will report to the Director of Product Operations. 

  • You’ll collaborate with the tribe’s leadership, key stakeholders and teams to make sure that you consciously iterate and improve the operational solutions 

  • You’ll own the tribe’s operational rhythm (calendar) and make sure that it is clear, maintains a healthy cadence and aligns with the Product Organisation and company-wide events

  • You’ll be part of the Product Operations function where you will share learnings and discuss how to improve operational solutions in individual tribes and across 

Qualifications

A bit about you:

  • You have 8+ years of experience from leading operational practices in fast growing technology companies where you have worked closely with technical teams. 

  • You are a strong communicator with a background in working with stakeholders in multiple teams. 

  • You demonstrate a problem solving attitude, with the ability to use regulations together with data to drive business decisions. 

  • You have experience in working in a fast-growing technology driven environment. 

  • You are willing to travel as needed and up to 15% of the time as Wise offices are located across different countries. 

  • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and have the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making abilities

  • You understand the importance of providing clear rationales for teams and excel in doing so

  • You’re data informed in your work and understand what agile is all about

  • You’re collaborative and open minded and thrive in fast changing environment

  • You have ambitions to learn and grow, and to help others do the same.
