As a Senior Product Manager on the Jira AI team, you will be at the heart of transforming Jira to facilitate this humans to agents collaboration. You'll partner closely with design, research, engineering, and data science to build intuitive, first-of-their-kind experiences, iterate quickly with customers, and scale what works. You'll anticipate where the AI landscape is heading and translate that into a concrete roadmap for your area, while contributing to the broader Jira AI strategy. You'll operate as the local expert for your team, coordinate with adjacent Jira teams and platform partners, and deliver high-impact, production-ready agentic features used by millions of Jira users worldwide.

To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $164,700 - $215,025
Zone B: $148,500 - $193,875
Zone C: $136,800 - $178,600
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Responsibilities: What you'll do
- Drive the strategy and roadmap to embed intelligent agents and agentic experiences deep into Jira.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams - partnering with engineering, design, data science, and more - to deliver AI features at scale.
- Orchestrate alignment across Jira, ensuring agent capabilities and AI features feel cohesive and consistent across the product.
- Partner with platform teams to align on shared vision, strategy, and execution plans for agent frameworks across Atlassian.
- Prioritize and ship features that move the needle, delivering measurable improvements on key results and success metrics.
- Harness customer insights and data to refine, iterate, and elevate product experiences.
- Stay close to customers, surfacing real pain points and turning them into breakthrough product opportunities.
- Scan the horizon for emerging AI and agent trends, translating industry shifts into Jira innovation.
- Communicate with influence, aligning stakeholders and executives with crisp storytelling and clear trade-offs.
Qualifications: Your Background
On your first day, we'll expect you have:
- 7+ years of product management experience.Technical fluency with an interest in AI, machine learning and related technologies
- True customer obsession - you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems
- Experience inspiring and mobilizing cross-functional teams towards a common vision
- Experience developing a multi-year product strategy and roadmap, gaining buy-in to executive leadership, and rallying a cross-functional team
- A track record of building relationships and influencing all levels of the organization.
- Experience building a compelling business case for new opportunities
Typically, product managers at this level have:
- A degree in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
