We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager leader for the role of Product Manager, Enterprise Abstraction Layer (Relayer). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully building technical blockchain-related infrastructure targeted at banks. They will excel in working closely with engineers, effectively executing projects, and driving innovative solutions. In addition, this individual will play a crucial role in the pre-sales process, actively engaging in customer calls and contributing to sales efforts without compromising the integrity of the product. The candidate should also possess a strategic mindset, capable of envisioning the Enterprise Abstraction Layer (EAL) from a broader perspective, considering its integration with other components such as relayer, Proof of Reserve, Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), and Data Feeds. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our product and make a significant impact in the financial industry.
Qualifications
Proven track record: The candidate must have a strong background in building technical blockchain-related infrastructure targeted at banks, demonstrating their ability to deliver successful products that have gained traction in the market.
Excellent product management skills: The candidate should possess exceptional product management skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, prioritize features, and drive the product roadmap to meet business objectives.
Technical expertise: A deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and related concepts is essential. The candidate should be familiar with industry standards, protocols, and best practices.
Strong collaboration and communication skills: The candidate must be capable of collaborating effectively with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial to facilitate effective communication with customers and contribute to the pre-sales process.
Analytical and strategic thinking: The candidate must possess the ability to think strategically and consider the broader implications of the Enterprise Abstraction Layer (EAL) within the context of Capital Markets, Real World Assets (RWA) standards, and its integration with other components.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree: A master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business administration is preferred.
Previous experience in the financial industry: Prior experience working in the financial industry, particularly in capital markets, risk management, or related domains, would be highly advantageous.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance: Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to blockchain technology and financial services, such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC), is a plus.
Entrepreneurial mindset: Experience working in a startup environment or having an entrepreneurial background would be beneficial, as it requires adaptability, resourcefulness, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
